The convoy of Maulvi Abdul Matin Saeed, the deputy surveyor of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Taliban administration, was targeted by armed and rocket attacks by the National Independence Front.

We inform the mass media and the noble and free people of Afghanistan that;  At around 2 pm on Sunday, November 01, 2026, in the Shahr-e-Bozorg district of Badakhshan province, the convoy of Maulvi Abdul Matin Saeed, the deputy surveyor of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Taliban administration, was targeted by armed and rocket attacks by the National Independence Front.

According to detailed reports from the scene, six of the guards were killed and five others wounded in the attack.

The senior Taliban official traveled to Badakhshan to monitor and organize further looting and illegal mining in the region.

The Taliban abuse power, plunder the country's national wealth and underground resources and spend its huge revenues on consolidating their illegitimate rule and suppressing the people.

The National Independence Front of Afghanistan once again warns that Afghanistan's underground resources are the national asset and the support of future generations and no one is allowed to betray the national interests of the country by looting them.

The perpetrators of this looting and its supporters, wherever they are, are under the magnifying glass of our forces.
